I’ve been focusing on the in and out of each breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Ordinary and mundane acts that work a miracle.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Live.
One chance at one life. One chance to do it the best
I used to get all worked up about getting it right. Now, I’m just glad to have a chance to do my best. So here I am, celebrating the chance to be the best

Your post makes me smile because those are my exact sentiments right now. I recently heard someone say, “Don't get it perfect. Get it going.” That's my new mantra and it's ok if I don't get it perfect. 🙂 Thanks for everything Ruth! J
I believe that what you've celebrated is all we can ask, Ruth. To life's best!
I love it when I hear a child say “Let's pretend . . .” I don't know that we embrace the power of pretend and once upon a time enough these days.
Love your focus on those three roles – momma, teacher, writer. And celebrating the blessing that your writer self is to all of us!
This is sage advice for all of us today. What happened to the little photo link-ups? I was always so impressed that this site had photos to click on to link up with the others.
Love the directness and simplicity of this message,Ruth.
Hello Dear Ruth, I so appreciate your wise thoughts. Too often we strive to do way too much. You are right to focus on just the things that are most important. It's a balancing act. Thanks for the blessing of this celebration page.
