CELEBRATE This Week: LV
I’m glad you are here to celebrate! Share a link to your blog post below and/or use #celebratelu to share celebrations on Twitter.
Starting this week, Celebrate This Week post will go live on Friday night at 10(ish). Let’s look at it as a weekend celebration. Whenever it fits, add your link. Please leave a little comment love for the person who links before you.
- Hello November! This year I’m hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I can’t wait. (Thankfully my mom is making the turkey.) I love meal planning and I’m trying to keep this in mind instead of freaking out that I’m old enough to host Thanksgiving dinner and there are a lot of people and how on earth will all of the dishes be cooked and warm at the same time? These are the things I’m sure will fall into place.
- The online course through Choice Literacy I’m leading for literacy coaches supporting teachers in writing workshop starts this Friday. It’s already been too much fun putting it together and we haven’t even started chatting and interacting yet. Oh! It’s going to be a good time. It’s not too late if you want to join us.
- We’re talking about being teachers who write at the #TandCWriters chat tomorrow at 8:00 pm. Will you join Christy and me?
- I like being a mom. A lot. My kids are fun and loving and hands-down the funniest people I know. It must be because they have such a fun-loving dad.

Thanks, Ruth. Have a lovely November, grabbing an extra hour, weekend!
I love the new look of your blog!
Love that we can celebrate during the WHOLE weekend now!
Wouldn't miss this for the world! I'm actually trying to be (even) more positive this month by posting at least one thing I'm grateful for on Instagram and calling it #instagrateful. It should be fun!
I don't think I told you that I love how the blog looks. And while November is a dark month, there's much to be thankful. Have a great week.
I love cooking holiday dinners and having everyone come to our place. Something so connected…..
I love Thanksgiving season! I'll be hosting our annual Friends' Thanksgiving in 2 weeks, and I'm so excited! I haven't joined a #TandCWriters chat yet, but would love to. I'm going to try to make time for that tomorrow. I wish I was a literacy leader so I could take your online course. Ha. Happy November! I wrote my Celebration post a little late and combined it with Margaret's DigiLit Sunday. 🙂
Have a wonderful time preparing and anticipating the fun of Thanksgiving. 🙂
