This week I’m celebrating connections between people. I’m celebrating the quiet encouragement I’ve received about my writing. I’m celebrating common experiences that link people together. I’m celebrating long-distance friends and across-the-road friends. I’m celebrating Autumn. And I’m celebrating sweet coffee.

Link-up with your celebrations. Make sure to check out other celebrations and leave some comment-love. The best part of celebrating on Saturdays is it become contagious!

  1. I read your post about your writing “challenges, hopes, dreams, fears” the other day as I sat outside an EEG room praying for the one inside…and while I did not respond….it has stayed with me all week….I, for one, know your stance and views and insight into adoption and loving and caring….and sharing are important to share….I don't know how you do ALL you do….but I look forward to reading about the joys and challenges and resolutions of your loving family as well as to your professional insights. Like my mentor Rita Brause wrote long ago, you have many important and intersecting identities.

  2. I will join you with a sweet tea on an autumn morning. I just discovered a fantastic chai recipe in the graphic novel memoir Relish. It is so delicious. I have made it multiple times.
