Wishing you a sunny and colorful autumn weekend! Thank you so much for this opportunity to celebrate and be part of this community.
Your celebrations sound calm and lovely! Mine are loud and rowdy. I love that they ALL belong here. I agree with Terje, thank you for this opportunity!
Have a wonderful last weekend of summer, Ruth. Sounds like all is going beautifully.
Connections, encouragement, friends, fall, and coffee – wonderful celebrations!
I read your post about your writing “challenges, hopes, dreams, fears” the other day as I sat outside an EEG room praying for the one inside…and while I did not respond….it has stayed with me all week….I, for one, know your stance and views and insight into adoption and loving and caring….and sharing are important to share….I don't know how you do ALL you do….but I look forward to reading about the joys and challenges and resolutions of your loving family as well as to your professional insights. Like my mentor Rita Brause wrote long ago, you have many important and intersecting identities.
I wonder how many readers are sipping coffee while reading this blog for encouragement! Keep connecting people!
Ruth thanks to you many of us connect! I am thankful you encourage us to share all our celebrations, joyful and gritty. I love the way God uses your talents!
I will join you in a sweet coffee on an early autumn morning. Just, perfect!
I will join you with a sweet tea on an autumn morning. I just discovered a fantastic chai recipe in the graphic novel memoir Relish. It is so delicious. I have made it multiple times.
