I’m glad you are here to celebrate! For more information, check out the CELEBRATE This Week page. Please use #celebratelu to share.

  1. I’m loving all of the stories being told this month. Thank you for sharing yours.
  2. I’m humbled and feeling lots of love because people have told me my words have impacted them. As Andy pointed out, “It must really mean something if people make an effort to get in touch with you without comments.”
  3. I’m celebrating working with Colby as his students produced remarkable infographics. Colby makes me believe instructional coaches make a difference.
  4. I’ve worn nail polish for three weeks in a row.
  5. Our kids have Saturday school today, so Andy and I are going out just the two of us.  I love getting to hang out with him.

Can’t wait to read your celebrations! Link-up below.

  1. I love all of your comments, but especially number 3 – I hope you know what a huge difference you make as a coach. I pray every day that my district will one day have coaches. We're tiny and they don't understand the value. I see huge value in what you do.

  2. I can't begin to tell you how much your words have encouraged me as a teacher, mom and child of God…through the Two writing Teachers, Day by Day and here…

    Thank you.

  3. These 20 weeks have gone so quickly-so happy you started this Ruth. Hope your morning with Andy is lovely. Yes, you have inspired me, still keep that one post on my process pages, about the 'little things'! Happy Saturday!

  4. We have an instructional coach, but few see the value. Sure you don't want to move to southern Indiana? Love reading your Lenten stories. Enjoy your day with your Andy and again, thank you for giving us a place to celebrate.

  5. So glad to finally be joining the celebrations! I've missed your writing, Ruth, but it's been a crazy year!

I loved #2. You really do make such a difference in every life you touch!

  6. I now know what you're saying about people looking for you when you're not out there. Nice. Wow, Andy and you alone—way big celebration! Saturday school stinks, but it's yours to enjoy. We had Saturday school before you came to WMS. We only had to go until 11:30 for it to count. Only the conscientious students came because no one had to come! We read on the floor and ate candy in my class. Celebrate!

  7. Such an amazing thing to have instructional coaches. I had never even heard of such a thing (here in Canada) and it just seems so logical – with everyone benefitting. I loved Colby's video of his students making the infographics.
